re parameter can be one of three types:
Plain string(s), in which case it's compiled to bytecode before matching.
Regex!char (wchar/dchar) that contains a pattern in the form of
compiled bytecode.
StaticRegex!char (wchar/dchar) that contains a pattern in the form of
compiled native machine code.
